Dr. Daniel Zondag is a chiropractor in Brownwood, TX. If you are reading this you are no doubt looking for a doctor of chiropractic to help you get out of pain, or fix some problem with your back or neck. Well, I must confess, I don’t heal anything. Healing comes from God, who created the body. He designed it to heal itself.; Most of the time it does, but occasionally there is some sort of interference that occurs and my job is to remove it. Basically, I get joints moving or working properly so healing can occur.
I became a Doctor of Chiropractic after realizing all of the help my own D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) was to me for many different injuries, low back pain and especially headaches.
My headaches occurred following a neck injury I got playing of all things, flag football. I was swooshed headfirst between the two largest guys in my school and I heard my neck make a terrible noise. Neck pain was followed by headaches. Nothing worked to relieve my headaches. I lived with the pain for quite a while as this occurred in Venezuela where my parents were serving as Missionaries. The following summer, while we were back at home in Canada, my mother took me to a Doctor of Chiropractic and did I get relief. Dr. Coates adjusted my neck, it felt great, and my headaches went away. Naturally over the years I saw him for many other injuries, aches and pains and I always got relief and my body was able to heal itself.
For those who wonder, the weird last name just means Sunday in Dutch. I am from Alberta, Canada, but I was raised as a missionary kid in Venezuela and Costa Rica. So, for those who need it, I do speak fluent Spanish. I met my wonderful wife here in Texas and quickly discovered that there is no better place to live and raise a family. Between raising our three kids, country life, church activities and my wife’s business, our lives are full and blessed.
